Biography
Scott Jochim is a member of Croker Huck, focusing his practice primarily on commercial, real estate and business litigation in both state and federal court. For over 20 years, he has litigated a wide range of cases for Croker Huck's business, banking, construction, corporate, real estate development, sanitary and improvement district, and individual clients at both trial and appellate levels. Scott has assisted clients with matters including but not limited to contract disputes, banking and collection matters, secured transactions, business torts, partner and shareholder disputes, construction and lien disputes, commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, special assessment and annexation disputes, condominium and homeowners association and covenant enforcement matters, employment and non-competition disputes, fraud, misrepresentation and concealment matters, probate litigation and will contests.
Scott works closely with clients to develop winning strategies to protect their legal rights and business interests. He assists clients in making informed decisions about pending litigation so they may reach their desired business goals in a cost-effective manner. Scott has a successful track record in litigating cases through trial and appeal, and he has helped many clients avoid costly litigation through successful informal dispute resolutions, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
